This 4 floor assessment and renovation involved turning a vacant dental clinic into administrative space for the Department of Periodontics. The renovation included demolition, ceiling and floor replacement, new gypsum board walls, painting, plumbing, electrical and mechanical work. New spaces included departmental offices, a conference room, toilet rooms and other administrative space. Services provided included state agency procurement procedures, interviewing and coordination with numerous end-users, space planning, complex phased programming, move management, upgraded technology for offices and conference rooms, coordination with engineers to include air handler replacement and emergency power improvements, and asbestos abatement.*Ms. Souder served as Principal-in-Charge and Project Architect during design while with another firm. At the client’s request Red Iron Architects was retained to complete the first floor renovation and the HVAC/Emergency Power Improvements.
