Park Circle Center, North Charleston, SC
The design for the center of Park Circle was created as a hub for the neighborhood and city. It is a masterplan for a Community Center, Farmers Market, Ballfield, and Inclusive Playground. The playground is said to be one of the largest of its kind in the world. The Community Center is a 17,500 square foot building that houses an event space, offices, classrooms, and other services for the city.

K-12 Education
Our business was built on educational design, as it is the passion of Emma, our owner. Our work includes design for all ages, from daycare through higher education. We look at all aspects of the project, from trends in educational design to technology, health, and well-being of the occupants.

Hospitality
Hospitality projects tend to be very design oriented, and we have several staff that focus on interior design and interior architecture. A vast knowledge of the trends and new materials, and how to use them, makes this division one of our specialties.
Higher Education
Designing academic environments that inspire learning is our passion. Locally, we have worked in various institutions including The Citadel, College of Charleston, and Medical University of South Carolina.

Health & Wellness
Healthcare and wellness projects have a unique program in that they focus not only on aesthetics and maintenance, but also cleanliness and sterility - a topic of highest concern in these times. Seamless and cleanable products, accessibility for all, and well-being are at the forefront of our healthy designs.

Religious
Places of worship and whole church campuses are very involved projects. Like a school, there are many different types of occupants and activities that can take place as part of a church, including classrooms and childcare. Master planning is also a specialty of ours, as well as meeting with many different user groups.

Industrial
Large pre-engineered metal buildings, or PEMBs, and tilt-up concrete construction structures have very different construction techniques when compared to traditional stick built construction. There are special code considerations for the sheer size of the structures, as well, and being familiar with the materials and techniques allows some design element without adding much, if any, cost.

Residential
Residential design, from completely new construction to additions and remodels, is another specialty of ours. The residential code, along with the best products and materials for our coastal area, are important considerations with any home built in or near the Charleston area.
